Grand Canyon North Rim to South Rim and Vice Versa (TBA ~ Sept/Oct 2011)
This is a hard hike with the potential of being life threatening due to heat exhaustion. You should be comfortable with the idea of hiking ~42 miles in 4 days and gaining close to 6000 ft of elevation. If you think that a day hike to Half Dome or Mount Whitney is hard, then this hike is not for you. The hike will feel harder than its actual mileage/elevation because of the heat and also because all the climbing is done at the end. Definitely not designed for beginners.
