Death Valley: Cottonwood/Marble Canyon

A 30 mile loop in the Cottonwood Canyon backcountry of Death Valley, one of the many beautiful national parks in California.

Contrary to its famous namesake, the area is full of life, especially in the spring time. My group endured long stretches with no shade or water in 95 degree heat—but you might be surprised how many flowers and plants we saw along the way. –Scott Parish

Over the years of trekking around, I’ve finally decided to setup a site that covers the different trips my friends and I have done. I want to share with other outdoors enthusiast my travels as well as experiences that I have encountered while exploring the great outdoors.
